I have same machine,,,2016 turbo. I'm in canton Illinois. I need the same treatment on my shocks. where are you, and what is timeline?
I literally had to cut that protective shield out.
I wonder if you met with a structural engineer if they could draw up a chassis or mods to the current one that would distribute the stress perfectly. Awesome car!
Just got my Talon 1000x4 LV back from MTS. Dealt with Jeep in the front of the house and Ned getting the tuning right. What an awesome company and even better couple of guys. So glad I went with them over one of the other guys. Headed to Flagstaff this weekend to really put it to the test. Can’t wait!!!

Sat in one of these yesterday - I was not impressed. The seats put you very high up, like you’re sitting on a bar stool. Fit and finish was meh…. The glove box wouldn’t stay closed. Kawasaki needs to work out some of the details better with this thing.

So they are junk? I was really liking them. Stick with the true and tried you get what you pay for.
This kit just wasn’t thought all the way through. They’ve said they are looking to rebuild the setup and get new products but I can’t personally recommend them when there’s proven products on the market. Maybe their v2 will be awesome 🤷♂️

Do you have insurance for when you round a corner at 50 mph and hit a motorcycle?
We never round corners at 50mph… also we had a lead car that would radio out traffic, animals, or otherwise hazards. If we wanted to rip and have fun, we always cleared the route first. Most of the riding was just at cruising speed anyways. We weren’t trying to make land speed records 🤣🤘

Im thinking this will complete against the polaris expedition or canam hd10 market. Obviously it will be a 4cyl and most likely full hvac enclosed cab. With any luck it will have some long travel like the sport sxs segment.

Kawasaki needs to release a 3/4 wheel street/highway legal car to compete with Polaris. Even Yamaha released a concept 3 wheel recently. I'd rather buy a Kawasaki or Yamaha if they made one!

They did this in 2015, with the H2 and H2R. You think a 249 MPH record braking, production bike is a "disappointment"?

Where do you get overland out of this video? A windshield? A wiper? You can put that on a KRX ya know…. Also, that’s obviously a 4-cylinder engine and Kawi has some drawings out there showing it’s supercharged. I wouldn’t jump to conclusions based off a 30 second teaser.

hybrid for an sxs makes no sense- gets way too heavy...
It makes total sense, but weight will always be a factor. In this car though, the weight isn’t from the hybrid system. The hybrid system only adds 441 lbs… the base car is super heavy for some reason. The chassis does have a lot of tubing, almost twice that of other cars… so that’s probably why. 🤷♂️

I used USFS maps on my GPS the entire route. Every route was legal.
If you checked with the Ranger district or Sherriff, they would disagree. You guys are terrible ambassadors for the sport.@@SXSGuys
Only problem mounting it on the back is if it rolls on that side you can pull the pin. I was going to do this but now I found a mount that I can use in the roof of the unit

How much actual pavement driving is there? Trying to do this trip next month. Any info would be very much appreciated!
Not "that" much. We did go through a number of towns for specific reasons (meeting up with people etc) but you can minimize your pavement, but you just have to pre-plan those route changes.
I like a few things with the the flooring and a few other things but I agree I’m not that comfortable laying back in it the pro xp perfect for my kind of riding
There's obviously aftermarket seats and accessories to lower/raise seating positions... but by factory, we're more upright riders for sure!
